In Austria, there is a variety of funding programs to support art projects. Few people are aware of how their project can be funded from this pool. The theory can be found on the respective websites of the funding departments / agencies, but in practice questions arise that can make submission difficult.
As a creative person, one often lacks the necessary overview to deal with this process. This workshop makes getting into the world of funding significantly easier.
Alexandra Reill, conceptual artist and experimental filmmaker, knows the practice of art and culture production in all its facets – from private / publicly funded project implementations to transnational, infrastructurally funded projects, a. o. in the film industry, under the support program EQUAL of the European Social Fund and the MEDIA program of the EU.
In this workshop she gives an introduction to the world of funding. The participants learn from her about relevant funding departments / agencies in Austria and get experience-related tips and tricks on how to successfully implement their own project.
