Die Fotografie Ein Glas Wasser ist Teil des künstlerischen Forschungsprojekts Flourishing (2026–), das bekannte und unbekannte Möglichkeiten der Zukunftsgestaltung in einem Hier und Jetzt untersucht. Angesichts vielfältiger Herausforderungen globalen Lebens, das eher von irritierender Fragmentierung als von erfinderischer Verantwortung für globalen Überfluss geprägt ist, sollten diese Optionen Potenziale zur Ermöglichung von Flourishing bergen.
