The LABfactory in its known form - as a public living room and open theater experiment in form of a permanent communicative installation and actional space of non-representation - is being completed after seven years.

In the final LAB, a number of the artists who have been active in the LABfactory during the last seven years show short contributions and statements for all those who have been enjoying art productions in the LABfactory.

As part of the evening AIKO shows the dance performance CHANGES – on the edge developed together with her students attending the LABfactory and the University of Applied Arts workshops in Vienna.

The experimental video atmosphere created by Alexandra Reill in cooperation with AIKO speaks an abstract language intensifying that atmosphere between disorientation and a search for orientation AIKO is perceiving as symptomatic of contemporary human states of condition.

Die für diese performance von Alexandra Reill in Kooperation mit AIKO gestaltete Videoatmosphäre intensiviert in einer abstrakten Formensprache jene Atmosphäre zwischen Orientierungslosigkeit und Suche nach Orientierung, die AIKO als symptomatisch für zeitgenössische Menschenbefindlichkeit wahrnimmt.
