die netzwerkarbeit im rahmen des eop-prozesses
wird von der begruenderin des projektes, helga koecher, einerseits als kunstprojekt zweiter ordnung im verstaendnis der sozialen skulptur nach joseph beuys, andererseits als laborsituation zur erprobung von funktion und dysfunktion von interventionen im verstaendnis der cultural studies verstanden.

an hand konkreter netzprojekte sollen erfahrungen behandelt werden, die aufgrund der unterschiedlichkeit der umfelder als dekontextualisierte erkenntnisse gelesen werden koennen und netzwerktheoretische ansaetze bieten sollen.

mit transdisziplinaerer zusammensetzung von gruppen kann, so helga koecher, der wesentlichsten barriere gegenueber vernetzung begegnet werden, naemlich der bildung von abgegrenzten gruppenidentitaeten und der entwicklung entsprechender feindbilder von anderer akteuren (homan’sches gesetz).

nach auffassung der begruenderin von eop,
fehlen jedoch fuer die bildung horizontaler strukturen, die eine „multitude“ (durchaus im sinn von hardt/negri) erst effizient machen wuerden, noch das selbstverstaendnis philosophischer praemissen. postmoderne positionen erwiesen sich eher als spaltend denn als vernetzungsfoerdernd, weil „wissende“ gegen „unwissende“ ausgespielt wuerden.

ein ansatz scheint helga koecher in der gestaltung flexibler strukturen zu liegen, die die balance gegenlaeufiger positionen zulassen.*

the approach

as defined by helga koecher, the founder of eop, the project understands itself - on the one hand - as an art project of second order, following joseph beuys' s social sculpture, and on the other hand, as a lab situation serving the testing of function and dysfunction of interventions, as understood in the field of cultural studies.

according to the founder, on the occasion of specific network projects experiences can be reflected as decontextualized learnings - because of the different environments (of networking elements, a.r.) - and can offer approaches for the development of network theories.

a transdisciplinary constellation of groups is meant to encounter what is understood as the major behindering of networking: the forming of isolated group identities and the development of corresponding enemy projections (as specified by homan).

nevertheless, for the formation of horizontal structures, which would be necessary to make a multitude (in the sense of hardt/negri) efficient, helga koecher encounters a lack of natural understanding of philosophical premisses. to her, postmodern positions appear rather splitting than enhancing networking processes. one of the reasons for this phenomenon she sees in a power game played by the 'knowing ones' with the 'not knowing ones'.

for the organizer, an approach to develop efficient networking processes seems to lye in the formation of flexible structures allowing a balance between contra-positions.*
