vib~ratio~n is a cooperation between Rainer Strasser / Bill Marsh / Octavia Davis and was created for Bill Marsh's D2K project at the Backlight Gallery's Image Event Series.

vib~ratio~n derives from images and sounds collected at the 2000 Democrative National Convention in Los Angeles / California, as well as disparate sounds collected on the web in the aftermath of this event.

The selected and prepared material is arranged in an interactive Flash environment. The experience of / in time is strengthened / cumulated by the user interacting with simultaneously re - combinable layers / events.

vib~ratio~n is a democratic net piece with a clearly humanitarian message having gained new impact very soon after the creation of the project.
