Sometimes Eunji Cho sees herself as a utility of society / being and again and again being interested in people's attitudes and how it feels to be a 'malfunctioning utility'. Eunji Cho's work generally focuses on personal questions relating to 'utility'. In her work, people's behaviour is never natural. The artist uses graphical tools of manipulation to let humans appear as manipulated figures. sitting 1 and sitting 2 the artist manipulated on the computer - improper sizes and light angles differing between objects let the portrayed figure turn into an abstract appearance. Ambiguity occurs through absence and the vagueness of borders of reality. Eunji Cho consciously adapted and experienced with certain malfunctioning utilities. sitting transmits a clear message - think things otherwise. y.o.p.
