war is not the answer.

what comes next? is a collage of images of war that has been chosen to contribute to the meaning of the artwork. these are images that depict recent & present situations of conflict and violence - the war of us and iraq. bush, hussein, military soldiers of different countries, and people that are involved in this war are presented to show the historical, cultural and socio-political context. the background hues are mixtures of yellow, red and burnt sienna to depict the context of fire. fire relates us to the bombings, death-war.

the war has ended, but it's not the end. it's only the beginning. another image shown in the work is a chinese woman that contradicts war. "war is not the answer", she says.

we shouldn't resolve to war. what comes next after the war? what happens to us? what happens to the future? will the children of tomorrow survive this war we are in today? will they ever see tomorrow? will they?
